Steve McConnell is the author of Code Complete, which the Forbes Technology Council called, "The single best cornerstone book on good software development." Steve's other books include More Effective Agile: A Roadmap for Software Leaders, Software Estimation, and Professional Software Development.

Along with top scientists from Johns Hopkins, MIT, and Harvard, Steve is currently contributing to the CDC’s “Ensemble” forecast model, which tracks and analyzes the progression of Covid-19 at the state and national levels in the United States. His forecasts, identified as CovidComplete in the CDC’s forecasting system, have consistently been among the most accurate of the models contributing to the Ensemble model.
