Spring Health became the latest startup in the sector to raise big, locking up a $100 million Series E at a $3.3 billion valuation — a 65% increase from the $2 billion valuation it received in 2021 after a $190 million in Series C. In the wake of the widespread outage caused by a defective update to CrowdStrike’s Falcon cybersecurity platform, Delta Airlines is among the first enterprises to come forward to demand compensation from CrowdStrike and Microsoft for the enormous losses caused by the interruption of its flights during the failure.
