Back then, I was more interested in being outdoors, but the idea of playing some games on the “TV” was intriguing. The Commodore 64 would start by putting you into a BASIC shell, so if you wanted to play a game, you had to issue LOAD commands to load from the tape drive or 5½-inch floppy, then issue RUN commands.
