We expect those teams to take a valuable increment, go off and work on it together , including collaborating with product management and stakeholders to understand what needs to be done, and to take responsibility for figuring out how to work together as a team. Those coaches often arent engineers, so they cant lead by example.

These are often the same things that cause a founder to reach out to me about helping their CTO, VP Engineering, tech team, off-shore development, etc. Delivery of code/product that clearly has not been tested. How strong is product management? It''s hard to manage a development team when you are not very technical.
