In Agile environments, maintaining focus is crucial to achieving optimal performance, especially in complex tasks like software development. We will also examine how Agile meetings offer solutions to mitigate these disruptions. When a developer is deeply focused on a task, their arousal level attests to that activity.
The same is not true, sadly, for many agile project management and development initiatives. Too often, an organization may launch something that looks like an agile program, calls itself an agile program, claims to operate like an agile program, yet really isn’t an agile program in the least.
But the faster transition often caused underperforming apps, greater security risks, higher costs, and fewer business outcomes, forcing IT to address these issues before starting app modernizations. Today, many CIOs must determine which agile tools to use and where to create practice standards.
