There is no such thing as the perfect project plan. Sometimes a projectmanager will find him or herself with excess resources and, as is more often the case, fewer resources than are required to complete a task. Real ownership of a performance measure means an individual is not only accountable for the performance indicated but is dedicated to improving that performance over time. Such ownership seldom exists when performance measures are assigned based on what appears to be a reasonable or logical association.
I have been an ardent reader of his books and I shared a short story on importance of processes from his book The High Performance Entrepreneur. In a high performance team, No one is anyone’s subordinate, but everyone is a subordinate to a cause. I enjoyed writing this the most. Don’t Kill It!
It is not just one action, but a series of actions consistently performed over a long haul. It is obvious enough to understand that one has to build differentiation in all that one does.
