The fuel for toxicity is conflict not resolution, ego not humility, self-interest not service above self, gossip & innuendo not truth, social & corporate climbing not team-building, and the list could go on. Many good people in the organization choose the latter course, and both morale and productivity tend to spiral downward.
I only care that they are totally committed to making a positive contribution to the organization. Great leaders lead all people under their care, not just those who agree with them.
