With rapid globalization and advent of technology, the rate of change in society and in organizations has just multiplied. Every change has its settling time and that depends on you/your organization/your context.
One of the biggest challenges for a lot of organizations today is to involve each and every team member in the quality game. Most people in the organization can do a better job if they know: What are the key values and beliefs on quality/excellence in the organization? How will those actions add value to organization?
Most people/organizations don’t think about meaningful changes unless the consequences of not changing are serious or our survival is at stake. I realized that we only change when we “have to” change (externally driven) or when we strongly believe in the result of change (internally driven). Because the latter often tends to be more painful.
That choice of living a remarkable life starts with waking up to our current realities, setting your terms for the unconventional life, challenging the status quo, undertaking contrarian adventures, building serious competence, organizing your personal finances, living in possibilities and thinking about your legacy now. Don’t Kill It!
Although the definition of those efficient metrics can be relatively easy when the project is small in schedule and resource size, the task can be much more challenging when considering the proper tracking metrics for a larger project. An organization can easily convince itself that as the project gets bigger, then so do the metrics.
Projects introduce new products and services, processes, applications, and standards to the organization. Regardless of the change, individuals within the organization will not possess the same level of familiarity and proficiency with these new item(s) as they had with those already existing.
