What we really need is disclosure of information about the growth and health of the supply side of Big Tech's marketplaces. It’s a nerve-wracking time to be a Big Tech company. In the European Union, regulation is already happening: in March, the EU levied its third multibillion-dollar fine against Google for anti-competitive behavior.

In the last few years, Chinese tech giants have been making massive strides at becoming the center of insurance innovation. Customer satisfaction score (CSAT) and Net Promoter Score (NPS) are the most important metrics for any insurance company. The insurance industry is notoriously bad at customer experience. Not in China though.

The technology was written in Java and Scala in LinkedIn to solve the internal problem of managing continuous data flows. We describe information search on the Internet with just one word — ‘google’. Practically, nothing.

Our efforts to measure and improve UX are packed with tragically ironic attempts to love our users: we try to find ways to improve our app experiences by bloating them with analytics, split testing, behavioral analysis, and Net Promoter Score popovers. UX and performance have issues in practice. My sister loves dogs.

It was just another reminder of overall aviation IT fragility, caused by different factors, from aging technologies to poor communication between different components to the introduction of immature solutions. Something that happens quite often nowadays. The first generation: legacy systems.
